Feasibility Evaluation:
Final Report

After more than a year of community input, technical analysis, and careful planning, the Connecting Chesapeake Study has reached its final stage. The documents below represent the capstone of our shared effort to explore high-capacity transit solutions that can improve mobility, support smart growth, and connect key destinations across the city.

The study’s findings identify Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) as the best fit for Chesapeake’s future—
and outline two promising routes for further exploration.

We’re proud to share these final reports as a resource for all who’ve helped shape this vision.
